Had an awesome ride this morning with Steven aka @doctorsauss, (on Instagram.) We rode a sweet 16 mile loop w 2,300 ft climbing in 3 hours. Started out in Overend Mt Park then worked our way up the Nature Trail around the Rim and down the Z. The Dr, working in Chinle, NM for a month finishing up his degree, made his first trip to Durango and didn’t want to try and figure out our trail system, he wanted to be guided by a pro. I am always Super stoked to lead another client with great bike skills and share our trails with him. The Doctor can Ride!

  1. I was in Durango for the weekend with my bike wanting to do some riding in this legendary MTB town, but didn’t want to spend all my time lost out on the trail. Enter John and Durango Mountain Bike Tours! It was super easy to set up a ride the day before, and he led me on an epic, challenging and scenic ride of the area. Afterwards, he hooked me up with some schwag from his sponsors for some grub in town – plus, some great photos and GoPro video of the ride. Thanks John – next time I’m in town, I know who I’m riding with!

    Happy trails,
    Steven

  2. Thanks for the kind words Steven. It was a pleasure riding with you. I love it when I get to take strong riders like your self out on the trails. Looking forward to the next time. Great tattoo by the way. Best of luck with your studies.
