From The Woodlands to the Mountains

Had a blast showing Jason, Rachel, and their daughter Katie, from the suburbs of Houston, TX, around Durango on our Town & Trails Tour. This trip was also special as my wife Tracy was guiding with me, and she was awesome. In total we covered 15 miles, 1,300 feet elevation gain in 3 hours. I was so impressed with the family seeing that 2 of the 3 has never been Mountain biking. They were already talking about “the next time.” Thanks once again to our friends at Second Ave Sports for the killer bikes!

Chasin Aliens

Drove Gene and his son Gavin the 25 miles south to experience the amazing Alien Run Trail. This is high desert riding at its finest. Located just south of Aztec, New Mexico, rumor has it that an alien space craft crashed at this site. I have to say that the three single track loops you can take are out of this world! The boys handled the 6 mile beginner loop like champs

North Carolina Makes it to Durango

Whitt, a fellow Dead Head, took the whole fam damily out on a cross country trek to Colorado. A mutual friend put us in touch and we took Whitt and his youngest boy Sullivan out on a great ride through Overend Mountain Park. It was great to be a part of this father and son bonding time! Hope to see Whitt out at Red Rocks in September for Furthur!

New Zealand in the House

What a rider Mark was. After a 26 hour flight from New Zealand, only 6 hours of sleep, and fighting jet lag, he rocked it on a 4 1/2 hour, 29 mile, and 2890 feet elevation gain tour. He killed it! So much FUN!
