Taos Ski Valley

The boys had no school Monday so we decided to make the 3 1/2 hour drive south east and go ride at Taos. It was unseasonably warm for late January with temps in the low to mid 40’s and we weren’t complaining. It was a gorgeous sunny bluebird day, and  a storm last week dumped 15 inches on New Mexico, so the snow conditions were excellent. We left the house at 6 am and were on the hill by 10, riding until 4., back home by 8. School and work tomorrow.

Shredding in Purg Parks and Chapman Hill

Kyle and Cullen have gotten pretty good at riding on rails, boxes and doing jumps. They have come a long way in their riding skills from when I first taught them. It has been fun to watch and to ride with them. Here are some pictures of the boys riding at Purg and Chapman Hill, Durango’s in town ski hill.
